It seems there are many ways to spell cosie! This lovely Tea Cosie (UK spelling!) used to be a Pringle sweater. It has been felted in the washing machine and transformed into a must-have folksy (and useful) accessory. It is a burgundy colour with a gray heart (also formerly a Pringle sweater) blanket stitched on using pure cotton gray embroidery thread. It fits a standard sized teapot and can stay on the pot while it is poured as there are gaps for the spout/handle. Don't forget to warm the pot with hot water before you make the tea. US customers will also recieve a few "Scottish Blend" tea bags so you can really enjoy a nice cuppa. The photos were taken on my lovely stove in my 200 year old recently restored (by me) fireplace.
